Christian Ethics
Description:
Over the course of eight weeks, students will dive into topics related to Christian Ethics, such as marriage and divorce, sexuality, sanctity of life, and racial reconciliation. For those who want graduate school (seminary) credit, this program will transfer as 3 credit hours of accredited coursework.
Delivery:
Sessions will be delivered as Monday evening classes involving both lectures and small group discussions. These classes will not be available to Distance Students—weekly in-person attendance is required. Similar to the Core Program, each VST Class will be available at the Foundations or Credit level.
What To Expect:
These courses will feel very similar to the Core Program, but will be contained within one trimester and focus on one subject rather than bridging terms and integrating subjects. It will be rigorous without being overwhelming. Credit students will put in roughly 4-6 hours of outside reading/work per class, and Foundations (non-accredited) students can expect to put in 2-3 hours of outside reading/work per class.
Cost:
We deliver these classes as “live” versions of the MBTS online classes. As such, for Credit students, they are subject to the MBTS Tuition and Fees (current tuition is approximately $1,596 per class, plus $560 in semester fees). Foundations students can expect a tuition fee of $125.
Applications are closed.
